Everglades Still In Trouble

A NY Times article on the faltering efforts to restore the Everglades. Having grown up in South Florida, I got to witness the unreal expansion and development. Suburbia still seems to encroach westward–and now eastward on the left coast–on a daily basis. Just flying into the airports on a clear day, you can see development stretched as far as possible right up to the line of demarcation.
