NEW YORK: Michael Ringer Art

Lost Channel

The St. Lawrence River is my river. I’ve spent a good chunk of summer there since birth, caught the first fish I ever ate (a perch) and the first fish that got me amped up (a pike). No other artist represents the St. Lawrence in his work better than Michael Ringer. His studio is in Clayton, New York. The one pictured above is called “Lost Channel.”

River Skiff

“River Skiff.” My Dad’s got a boat just like it; he bought it off an old timer we know who built it by hand.

Winter Steelhead

“Winter Steelhead”

Trout For Breakfast

“Trout for Breakfast.” He also paints scenes from the Adirondacks.
