Cool pics pete.. Nice way to break out of the cabin fever funk.
Those are pics from last season! I’m going to try and get out from shore over the next couple of days, though, hopefully.
Very cool Pete.
I have yet to fish stripers. I didn’t even know they existed here in New Brunswick until a few years ago. My health hasn’t allowed me out fishing for a few years but I am back and stripers are on the agenda this year.
There is a river about a half hour from here that gets filled with them.
Now I am so excited I am twitching a bit.
Come On Fish….
… Oooops still 5 days left before I can actually go fishing.
Hey Pete,
I figured I would introduce myself. I’m going about 3 days a week from here on out. I would be happy to report my findings if you would like.
Thanks,
Nate
Nate, definitely. I think I know the spot where you’re fishing, at least in the photo.
I don’t know if stripers are the same where you guys are, but the ones here in Virginia - the Potomac River and Chesapeake Bay are amazing!! I caught my first one a couple of weeks ago on the Potomac. At 27 pounds, it is my biggest catch to date. Here’s the report and a couple of pictures…
