From Newsday, new Governor David Paterson is expected to reject the Broadwater Liquified Natural Gas Terminal for Long Island Sound. From the article:
Paterson is also expected to say that it would not guarantee low-cost natural gas for Long Island, that it would disrupt commercial and recreational fishing and that it would, in essence, turn over a section of the Sound to a private company and exclude the general public.
