I’m on a cold streak, posting shutouts more often than Martin Brodeur. Nothing like going 0 for your last three outings to restore humility. Part of it has to do with exploring new waters. I checked out a few places that turned into dead ends, though one or two have good future potential.
I am most psyched to find beach access via a steep trail to a place with awesome striped bass possibilities. From the cliff above the beach I could see tons of boulders in the water intermixed between rock jetties. I’ve actually noticed this area while fishing from a boat, but you wouldn’t want to navigate in there, at least not in anything fiberglass or with a lower unit. But from the beach it’s a different story. Once I get the tide schedule dialed in, I’m sitting on a gold mine, I tell you.

I can’t wait for May
I can’t wait for tomorrow, when I’m going fishing again. Any chance to get off the schnide is a good one.
Well how did you do .I cast blindly at evry creek and inlet near my house . Gave my shoulder a god work out . Nothing ,but not unexpected
I haven’t connected with any stripers yet but a couple of people I’ve talked to have tapped into some schoolies. Today I’ll be getting in some freshwater action in the afternoon.
