The A.S.S. Post

I read somewhere in a magazine, maybe ThisIsFly or something, about the artsy scenic shot being a sure sign someone got skunked. To that, here are some Artsy Skunk Shots from the beach…

Low Tide

Jellyfish

Match the hatch…

Rod in Dead Tree Shot

I think I can contribute to this one….

Hey Jason, those are sweet eel patterns, but that’s actually a little Atlantic silverside I hooked stripping that jiggy fly.
its just my “artsy scenic shot” I got skunked so I had enough time to slip a real sand eel into my box.
OK, I totally missed the obvious there. It’s Sunday night, and I’m a little slow on the uptake. Sweet shot either way.
Maybe we’re jumping the gun a little bit trying to get a head start on the season?
Hey Pete,
I ground out 5 bass in about 12 hours of fishing. The largest was the size of a football (semi-deflated). Never took any pics b/c I kept thinking that I would have at least a decent one on… All on the flats that I was chirping about…
At least you got some, Nate. That’s good news to hear. Semi-deflated football is a good start.
I’m totally guilty of ASS shots. You can pretty much guarantee that if I’ve got pictures of wildlife or bugs, the fishing was off.
Yep, I’m as guilty as they come - sometimes they even contain artsy photos of beer. Hopefully this makes it into webster or at least wikipedia.
