You may run across this ad at some point in your perusals, and think to yourself, Hey the people who put this out must really care about the environment in Bristol Bay. They would never do anything to screw it up, right? As Bob Dylan once sang, “propaganda all is phony.” Go to the website of the pebblepartnership.com and find out what the originators are all about, extracting resources. They want you to be excited that they’re sitting on top of what “has the potential to be a world-class mine that will benefit all Alaskans for generations to come.” Sure…

    Say what you will about the tenets of the Pebble Partnership, dude, at least it’s an ethos.
