Being that I am not a fly fisher but do understand the pricipals behind it; I would say that is either an uninformed comment or prejudice toward other disciplines. I hope I am not sounding too sensitive but I have spent a lot of time perfecting my fishing skills and find it rather insensitive to make comments such as the above one.
