There’s not much better than the aluminum jon boat with kicker.
No maintenance; paint if needed.
Bounce off things; it’s ok.
Holds with a cinder block anchor.
Stand up, sit down, let your empties roll around.
Pole it if you have to.
Run forever on a gallon of combustible.

Good point.
Merry Christmas Pete!
Don’t forget drag up a gravel landing with a piece of nylon rope.
Merry Christmas.
Nice bucket!
I’ve been seriously contemplating getting a set up like that. Low cost, low maintenance, and it would give me access to some skinny water that hold some dandy buffalo and carp.
and you can duck/goose hunt out of it, too…
Keep it simple!!!!
Merry Christmas everyone!!!! Here’s to a great 2009.
Sweet ride. Must have oars/sockets too.
You can get places other boats can’t. I’d have to say though, any boat you can drink beer out of is a good boat.
“Stand up, sit down, let your empties roll around.” Great line.
I’ve been thinking about getting a smaller rig for bass fishing the small ponds in Southwest Florida. This type of outfit would fit the bill
I would have to have seating with back support. Otherwise, you are spot on.
