Every year I participate in a bluefin tuna expedition organized by Jeremy Cameron of Flies and Fins. This year the tuna didn’t show but we put it together on stripers and the recap, plus video, is up on Flies and Fins.

Hey Pete,
Whats the depth you fish at for these striped bass mate?
I know when I was fly-fishing for them in the uk the depth varied depending on the time of year.
It all depends on what they’re feeding on and when and where. But you can sight fish fish for them on the flats, bust them on the surface or fish for them to as deep as your fly line will take you. If you’re not a purist you can drop a bunker head down to 50′ on conventional and get Big Mama.
I want in.
That video was first class. Who did the music?
I think Jeremy from Flies and Fins wrote it. I’ll have to ask but I’m pretty sure he did.
