FLORIDA: Bass, Popper, Bust, Bliss

Here’s to the beautiful simplicity of popper fishing.

Cast it into some vegetation, pop, stop, pop….what’s more visually gratifying then watching a bass connect? Not much.

  1. Amen, to that! I am a HUGE fan of Simplicity. Although, I do tend to complicate it from time to time . But the only better than this pete – might be – BIGGER striped bass on poppers “Cast onto the fast side of the reef, pop, stop, pop … ” —- Any day now our striped friends should be showing up for the party! Infact I just saw on facebook that brendan mccarthy got some nice stripers today – 13 of ‘em infact – (i assume ny region – so, your neck of the woods)

  2. Jeremy,

Saw you left this comment around midnight. Do you ever sleep? Thinking back on the tuna trips, I don’t ever remember you crashing ever.

  3. My favourite form of fly-fishing.

  4. Any sort of surface take is hard to beat.
