The 11th Annual Spring Pike Fly Trip is this week. Here’s my bro releasing a nice female from 2008.

    I am going to have to start a pike fishing trip myself. I haven’t fished for pike since I lived in Ontario more than 30 years ago. Seeing images like yours makes me feel home sick.

    We do get to fish Chain pickerel here in New Brunswick and they are a lot of fun. The only thing is they don’t get as big as Northern Pike. They are just as mean, just not as big or powerful.

    Even at that there is no better feeling than the drive home wondering if my arms will hang in there until I get home.
