No Sleep for Big Silver

I haven’t landed a tarpon on fly over 60 pounds. Going vampire with live crabs and circle hooks is a different story. Big tarpon come out to play at night. I’m southbound today. I’ll sleep again on Monday.

i can so hook you up with some nice tarpon flies so that you don’t have to go to such extremes such as crabs and circle hooks.
Yeah man, I’ll take you up on that, but this particular trip is with a group of friends that aren’t fly fishermen so it’s hard for me to break out the 12w.

Nice fish indeed and I can’t wait to get one over 100lbs myself!! Got a Juvy last month at 3:30am so I love the darkness for Silvers
