Nice Pete! What size rod are you slinging those poppers on? I just bought a 6 wt TFO to huck some heavy streamers courtesy of Corey K’s recommendation.
I’m actually learning to fly fish in our farm pond. It is well stocked with bass and bluegill so I’ having a BALL with my fly rod!
I’ve been testing two ditch rods for review: a 7’6″ Temple Fork ticrx six weight and a 7’10″ Redington Predator six weight. For hitting the ditches a short sixer is the way to go. More to come in a future post.
