Shovels and Rope (Cary Ann Hearst and Michael Trent) are awesome. Just finished filming a “roc doc” at the Pour House on 8/18/12 and the background story is in the Charleston City Paper earlier that week. It’s the best of Woody Guthrie and a young Dolly Parton having fun on John’s Island….low country cool at its best. Thanks for the heads up. I will be looking for them….and they will be big. Real country/folk is always new and hopeful. Yes, “O’ Be Joyful”.
