NORTH COUNTRY: Loons and Smallmouth

NEW YORK: Michael Ringer Art

Posted on March 20th, 2008

The St. Lawrence River is my river. I’ve spent a good chunk of summer there since birth, caught the first fish I ever ate (a perch) and the first fish that got me amped up (a pike). The one pictured above is called “Lost Channel.” “River Skiff.” My Dad’s got a boat just like it; he bought it off an old timer we know who built it by hand. “Winter Steelhead” “Trout for Breakfast.” He also paints scenes from the Adirondacks.
