MSM Fishing Reference Mistakes…
Posted on July 24th, 2008
From this week’s Sports Illustrated, in an article titled “The Evert Effect” wondering whether Chris Evert boosts the performances of her husbands, comes the following blurb: “Andy Mill. When Evert married the former Olympic skier in 1988, he had been retired for seven years. But the Evert magic couldn’t be denied. Mill took up deep-sea fishing and before long became known as the world’s best tarpon fisherman.” He took up saltwater fly fishing. Deep sea fishing is, well, something altogether different than casting flies to tarpon. Thank you for allowing me to get caught up in semantical minutiae that no one else really cares about.
